Oh my GAAAAWWWWWD!
What a trailer! The dubs! The action! WOW!
It's time to get the Borderlands band back together. "We're gunna need a lot of guns."
In related news, NVIDIA showed off a version of Borderlands 2 running on a Tegra 3 tablet at the PDXLAN thing in Oregon.
Wait.. What? What did I miss? Nothing about that vid got me excited
Unless there is nothing better to play when its released I will do what I did with the first Borderlands... Wait till its on sale for what its truly worth!

Better than some other crappier DRM (or ORIGIN)PC gamers rejoice, 2K Games has sent out word that all versions of their FPS/RPG hybrid Borderlands 2 will ship with Steamworks support.
Those who purchase the game at retail will be required to activate it on Steam, which will then be permanently tied to your account. As with every other Steamworks title, you’ll be getting hassle free DRM, autoomatic updates, excellent matchmaking options and of course, Steam achievements.
Borderlands 2 will be landing on shores in North America on September 18th, and in Europe on the 21st.

yes, I'm certainly pretty happy about the steamworks integration in general, mainly for the value-add features, but I'd like to have those things without the potential for the valve mothership to pull the plug (as unlikely as that is) aka I won't celebrate DRM as a whole, but I'm happy that its the lesser of the evils.
and yes, I hope that implies steam coop integration in blands 2
