    Oh my GAAAAWWWWWD!

What a trailer! The dubs! The action! WOW!

It's time to get the Borderlands band back together. "We're gunna need a lot of guns."

In related news, NVIDIA showed off a version of Borderlands 2 running on a Tegra 3 tablet at the PDXLAN thing in Oregon.

Must admit that I bought the track used in that trailer on Amazon MP3 after listening to it.

PC gamers rejoice, 2K Games has sent out word that all versions of their FPS/RPG hybrid Borderlands 2 will ship with Steamworks support.

Those who purchase the game at retail will be required to activate it on Steam, which will then be permanently tied to your account. As with every other Steamworks title, you’ll be getting hassle free DRM, autoomatic updates, excellent matchmaking options and of course, Steam achievements.

Borderlands 2 will be landing on shores in North America on September 18th, and in Europe on the 21st.

Well, I am a full on Gabe-ite who loves Steam. So, I have no problem with this, but there are the people who are suspicious of Steam so that will probably piss them off.

Would be great if the Borderlands 2 co-op used Steam integration rather than GameSpy (wtf).

yes, I'm certainly pretty happy about the steamworks integration in general, mainly for the value-add features, but I'd like to have those things without the potential for the valve mothership to pull the plug (as unlikely as that is) aka I won't celebrate DRM as a whole, but I'm happy that its the lesser of the evils.

and yes, I hope that implies steam coop integration in blands 2
