Forums down every morning?

For the past 3 days the forums have been down or VERY slow all morning. What's going on? Forum changes coming? Or is it due to the new pcper offices? Or just ISP trouble? Curious :O

I've noticed that also, its been about 4-5 days in a row here (till today).

I've noticed this too and it goes back months. I assumed the forums were backing themselves up or something.

Kevin...you may be correct on forum backup suggestion. As I recall..from years back...backups were done nightly at 3 AM or something...so as not to interfere with normal functioning. I wonder if the lack of accuracy with forum time has resulted in intrusive routine backups. Yet as I recall..the time to backup forum content isnt something that takes hours at a time.

down again this am just came up a few minutes ago.

I'm not sure what's happening exactly, but I am seeing it too. I am thinking when the server does it's nightly backup, around 530am EST, the load causes Apach/Mysql to freak out and not recover. I simply login, restart both services, and we are good to go. But it doesn't happen every night, so I'm confused.

I don't think its a time issue, but I'll set it right now just to be sure.

Do you guys have a specific time that you notice it goes away?

OK just able to log back in now. So around 9:30-9:35 AM EST

I've been trying to get in since around 6:00 Am CST, The forums were fine around 11:00 Pm central time

Yeah, this morning it was down for way long time.

Ryan and Joe...whatever has changed seems to be working. Did you change backup times or was resetting forum time the answer?

Yeah, I noticed it was much better this morning too.

Today not able to get in until just now....so eastern time..no access from 7AM until about 8:20 or so
