New Build: Current SB or Wait for Ivy?

The Intel Sandy Bridge-E Core i7 3820 LGA2011 Boxed Processor is now ~$250 at Microcenter. If they updated the X79 motherboards this would be more tempting.

i got an ivy i7 and am happy with it. but keep in mind i upgraded from a nephalem :X

if your an overclocker currently on a sandy bridge, you won't be so impressed with ivy bridge overclocking.

2013 however will have new architecture , broadwell and haswell. and the year after that in 2014 is skylark :X

I’m sure everyone has Ivy Bridge fever (despite the heat when OCed),...
