Random blue screen of death? other questions

i used Factory restore

created Ai recovery disks
system image disk
Windows repair disk

then did all the windows updates

made another system image
unistalled Asus live update
Uninstalled Power for hybrid
got the blue screen of death saying windows is shutting down to preserve its self
did disk check

so i have 3 questions
1 why did Uninstalling Power for gear hybrid cause blue screen?
2 why when i update windows it leaves some updates unchecked and should i not install them
3 my computer seems to act different now compared to before i installed windows updates

any ideas?

- Scan for any virus
- Use CHKDSK/F to fix HDD errors
- Use the latest drivers
