Checked the infamous "banjo bolt filter" on the oil line for the turbo on my wife's Subaru Legacy GT. I'm happy to have found that it was clean as a whistle. They've been known to get clogged up, probably from people trying to stretch out oil changes too long. Once they clog, the turbo gets starved of oil and that's not a good thing for a piece of metal spinning at 100k rpm's or so.![]()

I washed my FRS yesterday!!
I wish I had an FRS :\
I haven't done anything to my car today, but a couple weeks ago I clipped a log trying to avoid a pothole in my GTI. Broke the bottom trim along the right side front bumper and lost a piece of the wheel-well liner that was attached to it. Worse, it seems to have damaged the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Topped it off and must have all leaked out immediately because I got the warning back on my MFD right away.

ouch, sometimes its better to just hit the pot hole.
Yea maybe. This thing was cavernous though. I'm crossing my fingers that the fix on the washer bottle and wheel-well trim is cheaper than a rim and a new tire, because I'm pretty much convinced thats what the alternative would have been. Cosmetically theres no damage, I was able to mostly pop the hanging trim piece back on. Maybe a slight scratch on the paint, but the car is white and it doesn't show
