How to force windows 7 5.1 speaker setup automatically if it's an available option?

Everytime I plug into hdmi on my home theater receiver it defaults to 2 channel stereo and I have to go into speaker setup every single time to set it back to 5.1 channels. It's crazy annoying. How do I set it up to automatically default to 5.1 channels every single time if 5.1 channels is available?

I want to change the registry for the device in Playback devices. The device is a Pioneer VSX-520K. I want it to default to 5.1 channels and 24bits and 192Khz by default everytime.

I found this info... My device I guess is the intel cougar point hdmi from the i7 graphics built in.
