we are sorry to inform you that Rosewill no longer ships keyboard/mice to IL, NY and NC. This is due to additional e-waste fees imposed by these states.

I was thinking of getting that keyboard because the MX Brown switches but the user reviews of the letters wearing off the keys somewhat easily was making me reconsider. I could have it shipped to PA if I really wanted it.

I'd say you could ship it to me, but there would be tax due to being in NJ. I'm surprised they can't just charge the end-user the ewaste fee. Thats what they do in CA

I'm surprised newegg is complying. When NY passed that law about collecting tax from internet stores newegg charged NY tax for a couple days and then went back to no tax. Amazon still charged NY tax.

you don't know why they did that, there could be a number of reasons for the differences in policy.
