    Re: Syria.

After 2 1/2 years and a 100,000 dead this president decides a gas attack of questionable origin tips his moral compass enough to take military action... "Maybe"... waiting, waiting, waiting...

May 7, 2013 - at this point, what difference does it make?"

We shouldn't "support" anyone over there! It's their Civil War, we've already had ours, and I don't remember a bunch of Arabs showing up to ours to support which side they thought should win.

    Re: Syria.

kbohip - I cannot agree more that this is a civil war there and picking sides is not good, not legal and surely highly immoral.

And that brings back the irony - on one hand, these people commint unspeakable atrocities (who ever can imagine cuting their enemy heart off and biting into it?) and USA gov is supporting them (satelite phones, body armor, money, weapons thru Quatar and SA, Sarin gas...).

On the another hand, when allegedly (no evidence expect the Israeli's forgery of communication) the other side of the conflict use Sarin, then everyone is up in arms?

Come on, these terorists are proven to used Sarin at least there times before and continue to do so! ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NtV5BQTgJY - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H0jNjuDONm0 ) So what moral compass the USA gov have? On one hand - supporting murderes = fine, no problemo. On another hand - other side allegely use Sarin = we have better to show them, that they cannot do it?

When one is supporting terorists, then he must expect that the conflict get worser. No-one is trying to extinguish fire with gasoline, right? But that is what USA gov is doing. More support and weapons = worser atrocities will be commited. If the support was droped two years ago, then Syria should be already rebilding and maybe US companies could have contracts on rebuilding.

But who will hire now people, that their gov is responsible for the crysis in the first place, by funding the terrorists...?

Meanwhile back at the farm Obambi and his regime are doing what they do best... Campaigning...

Campaigning for limited military action, that's just perfect another limited war. We've had limited wars for over a decade and everything is more f*cked up than ever before.

    Waiting, waiting, still waiting...

    Dear Mr President,

When your closest allies are afraid of you and the enemy isn't you might want to think about doing something differently.

Well, it's about time to open the White House candy store. Remember all of the special favors and vote buying there was when the Unaffordable Healthcare Act was on the voting block, well it's that time again. What's it going to take to buy your vote? A new defense contract? Exemption from the Unworkable Healthcare Act? Reconsideration on that oil pipe line that's going to run through your state? How about a monument dedicated to your greatness? What's it going to take?

Mr President do you hear that quacking sound and that knock on your door?

That's the Lame Duck quacking at your door...

That's the best you can do?

It seems to me the question is: How many Civil Wars do you want to get involved in?

So far he's lost his ass in Libya and Egypt and he's going to lose his ass in Syria too. Should we keep making the same frigging mistakes over and over again?

Call me cynical, but seeing your point, the cost of cruise missiles just went up. Doing the math and hearing that Obama "only needs" three of those destroyers... we get 3 x 90 x 1.5 million bucks to send his personal message to the tall guy who won't get hit by any of it. About a half a billion bucks. Double that to sway the politicians...

He's found a way to make a round of golf cost more than a few million bucks. Bravo!!!

    Try this:

Execute a President for treason? First time for everything. Thought's been going through my head that he knows something.

That better? All we need is the proof. If MSM would just get a pair somewhere ... maybe?

The fact that they could have the exact number number of dead in a day for the gas attacks and know for absolute certainty that Assad pulled the trigger made me suspicious. We couldn't figure out something like that in a week- maybe a month- here in the US. Gad- look how long it took 911.

Of course, Kerry being a lying SOS was my earliest clue.

^ Now they've got Bonner and I think McCain on the bandwagon. This is just another "Smoke and Mirrors" fiasco, a slight of hand trick to keep focus off of the financial disaster that was once the strongest economy in the world. This keeps the attention off of them and hence any responsibility to actuall fix it - to change anything.

What's coming up in October? Debt ceiling talks which just by chance coincide with the fiscal year for govt. How convenient.....

Bought and paid for senate to do the bidding of the defense contractors.

As another election draws near; the G.O.P. are yet again filled with a stupid confidence that the they will win the White House. What they don't realize about people like Trump, Carson, and Cruz is that their rhetoric only resonates within an echo chamber, but not the American people. They live in an illusion of falsehood and distorted truth and only seek information and opinions that confirm these beliefs and instantly reject anything that contradicts them because only their opinions matter. Their notion of freedom is freedom for themselves and those alike to them, but not the rest of the country which has changed.
These are the reasons why the G.O.P is set to lose in 2016. And when that happens, rest assured that they will have myriad of conspiracy theories blaming everyone and everything from the liberal media, to Oprah, to welfare moms, and pretty much everyone but their own disgusting selves.
