Component to DisplayPort adapter for monitor with no component input

I haven't been able to find a component to DisplayPort adapter. Best I have been able to find was a component to HDMI or to a VGA adapter at Monoprice.
Their HDMI version had many reports of "crushed blacks" and reduced PQ which is no surprise to me considering the price.

The monitor I'm now using has HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort & VGA. All but the DisplayPort are in use so, logically I would want to use that for the input. The devices that I have, I would prefer to use their component output. All (that I could find) current PC monitors do not have component inputs anymore.

Any ideas? I would like to stay under $100 or so depending on what's available. Surely not too much over that.

Same reason TV's have multiple inputs; other devices:
DVD Recorder/player, HDTV tuner, VGA KVM switch for 2nd PC.

DP is useless for me though I now understand most graphics cards have DP's.
All older players/recorders have component. The monitor/TV manufactures dropped component way too early.

The reason I asked was I had the same problem.

I solved my problem by adding an old outdated GPU I had and used it for the non critical component.

I guess all or most video cards now have a DP on them. I did think of replacing mine with one of them to free up the DVI port, but I still need something that will convert (transcode) component to DVI at 1920x1080p w/o loss of quality and under around $100 or so.
