Drought conditions bad where you are? Wash your car with 2 gallons of water.

I just read that the extent of drought in the US is at it's worst levels in many years. Some of you might even have to go through what I have here in the past in Colorado. That is mandatory water usage restrictions. These can be a real pita if you wash your car at home like I do. Normally I don't pimp a product here on the forums, but this one works so good I'm making an exception. The stuff I'm referring to is called Optimum No Rinse. Basically it's a rinse less car wash. I've used it for a couple of years now and I love it. Not only can you wash your car with only 2 gallons of water to save money and water in drought conditions, you can wash your car inside your garage in the winter when it's too cold to do it outside.

ONR is not inferior to a regular car wash either. I actually get better results using this than I do washing via the hose and bucket in my driveway. As a matter of fact, even though there are no water usage restrictions right now here, I only wash my car the traditional way a few times a year now. They've improved the formula over the last 5 years or so and the results you get are amazing considering the low water usage and not having to rinse. I just want to also make it clear that I don't work for Optimum or any of the places I've linked to either. I just REALLY like this product and want more people to know about it! I only wish I could buy it in town.

Drought is bad here in Wisconsin. Newspaper says farmers in the western part of the state are having to throw out their entire crops of corn. Bad in entire upper midwest. The price of corn is going to explode in about a month.

Yeah, I've read that about Illinois too. This is yet another reason why alternative fuels that use our food supply (ethanol) are a very, very bad idea.

Maybe it's a good thing that I'm allergic to corn. Saves me the trouble trying to hoard it all. haha

Up until last week, we had temps over 100 dry and sunny. Then this past week and now, the thunderstorms just keep rolling in here in Nashville.
