triple monitor sound problem

i just rehooked up my 3 monitor system in my new place after several months without it.
i managed to get the monitor lined up sequently so mouse just keeps going left /right to next monitor.

the problem is i think because the 42 plasma is hooked up with hdmi, it has hijacked the voume output and control thru the tv and my computer sound system and sub are rendered useless

how do i correct this?
i cant hook up computer monitors to hdmi cable, they dont have that input.
this exact system was working before with computer audio system but i forget how i fixed it or even if i fluked it somehow.

you need to change the "default" sound device

can you take a screen of your sound devices ?

well that was easy. i just right clicked the spkr icon in taskbar and clicked on playback devices and there it was a choice between xfi sound card and hdmi device.
this was never there before with only two monitors so i never even checked here. ive never really had more thn 1 sound device before, if i did it was onboard sound and seperate sound card which i usually enabled with bios.

im not sure what u mean about a screenshot of sound devices? i guess it doesnt matter now.

funny thing is i dont recall changing this option before when i had 3 monitors last time, at least not in this particular way.....

another minor problem im having that maybe you know about is that the medium size 24 inch monitor keeps getting its settings out of sync.
the picture goes off to the right and i cant see the close button x . i can fix it in under a minute just resetting monitor to factory settings but it keeps doing it.

got any ideas?
