    Memory Errors

I have a Asus M5A97 EVO mother board with a phenom II 1100 T BLACK EDITIONand a HIS 6850 Video card with a corsair vengeance cmz8gx3m2a 1866c9 memory and a corsair tx n750 power supply! Question??? why the mother board run at the speed of 1866 c9 memory and keep from locking up when i run memtest86+ and have errors during the test. also the memory are on the motherboard list for that board

We are sorry to inform you that the CPU you have can only support up to max. DDR3 1333 natively.

    Thank you.

Then I need to get me a Bulldozer cpu which can run the 1866 memory see link http://www.amd.com/us/products/deskt...-features.aspx

    Re: Memory Errors

your not going to see anything noticeable running the ram at 1866.

have you tried running at 1600? a slight bump in vcore might be necessary.

i have a 960t@3.6 with the extra cores enabled and the memory at 1600.
