    Planning on buying Windows 8?

Just like the title says, are you planning on buying Windows 8?

This is the first version of Windows I'm probably not excited for and not planning to buy. I was actually excited for Vista because it was such a long time since XP and it had some cool UI improvements. But, the whole Metro UI is so unappealing on a desktop.

Windows 7 is so awesome it wouldn't be worth it to change. I may buy an all in one computer with touch screen after Christmas so Win8 would be good on that one.

I bought an OEM Pro 64 bit version, because I need to know how it works so when
my co workers buy their new laptops and desktop around TG and X-Mas after me
telling them to stick with 7...I'll be able to show them how to work 8. Mine is
back ordered, but hopefully it gets here soon. I'll stick it on a new partition
of my main drive on my main unit and go from there.

I was planning to but quite famously decided against it a couple months ago.

I was excited for Win7. I knew it would be a nice upgrade from WinXP. Win8 just hasn't caught my interest at all. I'm sticking with Win7.

    I voted - no interest

I'll definitely be taking advantage of the cheap upgrade plan fo some of my XP and Vista computers. For my desktop.. not in a rush just yet.

It's a tablet version of Windows 7 with a desktop version hiding underneath.
