Help: Upgraded from 9800 GT to 660 gtx and have lower fps.
Since upgrading cards, the picture quality difference is amazing, but I lost FPS. I have a friend with an almost identical computer and he runs 250-300 fps while I run 60-80. On my 9800 GT I was getting over 100 FPS in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, now i'm getting a mere 60-80, on high settings. On all low settings I am running between 40-80 (weird that my fps drops more on low settings). I have re installed drivers twice, and I have used driver cleaner to remove my old drivers. I noticed that my "FPS IN" is between 250-600. But my 'FPS OUT' is between 70-80. v sync is not on. Please help!
Here is my PC specs:
Processor: Intel Core Quad Q9550 2.83ghz
(my cpu usage is only about 50% in game so its not bottlenecking)
msi 660 gtx 2gb
my hard drive is standard 10,000 rpm (I want a solid-state lol)
Havent had to post something like this in a while, I'm sure that I am missing some info. Thanks for the help guys.
