Anyone playing Planetside 2?

Yeah I've played some, it tends to run like crap on my system no matter what settings I use though. I know most of the in's and out's of it so far, like what generator's take down what shields and how to get up to bio labs etc...

I played pretty casually in the beta,wasn't a great shot and still had a good time.

I found if you really want to participate in battles being in a squad with someone knowledgeable helps.
There is a bit of a learning curve

Im on Jaeger with some friends with Terran.

but willing to go to other servers..always wanted to try out a New Conglomerate.

Well I setup a character as a Terron on Jaeger as well! I'd say we'll do that for tonight.

How do we group up in the game later tonight?

Im sure Grendel will be bugging me(in Irc)..so Im sure I will go where ever he says..a vent server or a teamspeak server would be best..in game coms work nicely also..but you gotta get there first.

We'll probably have to do in game with our Skype connections to work. We are joining Terran on Jaeger as you suggested. No idea what I am doing after that though!

Well that was...harder than expected.

For the purposes of the Stream i suggest we play on a more populated server next time. We could very easily find and join in on a large epic battle, not just capture undefended points. Also a Vent, TS3, or Mumble server would help our coordination efforts greatly. Trying to communicate through the stream was difficult.
It seemed like Mur1ca and I were the only ones who have played before. That didnt help.
Announcing the server and faction we are going to play on a day or two ahead of time would also help, so that i have time can get all of the upgrades and equipment to help us out. None of us had an AMS Sunderer which was why we couldn't spawn near our battles.
Anyway it would be fun to do it again next week

So we can use the FF teamspeak server maybe and try to find a better server? Was the server we chose last time not good? Would we have to have new characters if we went to a different one?
