I need a new PSU.
Last time I went PSU shopping, Seasonic were untouchable gods at the head of mount Olympus, Antec wasn't far behind, and everyone else was a gamble. I got on newegg yesterday and saw really, really scary stuff going on with Antec and Seasonic PSUs.
I've heard good things about Corsair and OCZ. I'm wanting something modular (preferably, but I'll get over it if it's not modular), something able to handle SLI+a spare GPU (potentially) and a bit of overclocking. So, 3xGPUs+1xCPU. I think a decent 850W should be able to do it as long as I avoid cramming 3 flagship GPUs into one system and putting them all under load simultaneously, but I'm not too concerned about using a 750W PSU as long as it's significantly cheaper to a point I won't hate myself in the future if I have to replace it. (<$90).
What's no-frills with clean power output? What brands and models should I be looking at?
