    Gaming build for an Aussie

Hey guys I have not followed pc hardware for a couple of years so I would really appreciate any input you have

    Case
Corsair Carbide 500R Case - Black

    Motherboard
    ASRock Z77 Extreme6 Motherboard

    CPU
    Intel Core i5 3570K

    Storage

    Seagate Barracuda 1TB ST1000DM003
SSD Intel 520 Series 120GB SSD

    Memory
    G.Skill Trident X F3-2133C9D-16GTX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3

    Graphics Card
Gigabyte Radeon HD7970 GHz Edition 3GB

    CPU Cooling
    Noctua NH-U12P SE2

    Power Supply
    Corsair AX860 Platinum Power Supply

So what do you think the PSU might be overkill but I intend on getting another 7970 in the future which leads me on to might next question will the psu be powerful enough for crossfire??

    Thanks from Australia mate

I only see 1 glaring issue...

The memory you have picked. You don't want to have memory @ 1.65v for the current intel processors. The memory needs to be 1.5 v or less
You wont see any benefit of the increased clock either (1600Mhz ram is preferred with the processor you selected)

What do you plan on doing with this rig ?
