I have a system that's going to serve either as a server and secondary system - or come with me across country if I move into a dorm and have to bounce back and forth a few times a year.
I've been all over Newegg and Amazon and Xoxide. I don't want to spend a mint because this case is going to suffer some abuse, but all of the cheap cases are made up of aluminum foil and cardboard, it seems. I need to spend under $70. I have a hard limit of $100.
My requisites: 1x120MM intake, 1x120MM exhaust (at least), side mounted hard drives that don't point back at the motherboard (I.E. Antec 300 2 instead of Antec 300), and durability. Ideally the hard drives would be easy to slide in and out of the system.
Full build:
Core i7 920 @ 3.2 GHZ from 2.66 with a Thermalright Ultra-120
Asus Rampage III Formula
24 gigs RAM
Radeon 6870
1x256 gig SSD + 2x1TB RAID-1 WD caviar blacks + 1x3TB something-or-other to use as a backup drive.
(old) Seasonic 550W PSU
Thanks!
