Error in Mid Range Power Supply

The mid range power supply sponsored link is wrong. It shows CX500M but it links to the page at newegg for the CX500.

Also the part about the double d hd7870 getting free games is wrong. That promo ended in march for XFX. Even though they still run the commercial on the front page of their website.

Nope the promotion ended in march. Even though it is being advertised on the front on xfx's website. It has been brought back with the 'level up' version but newegg at least is not honoring it. So at least for the version that is posted on the hwlb you do not get free games... I know I bought the card and I can't get the manufacturer or retailer to honor the deal.

Re: Error in Mid Range Power Supply

Its called level up and the problem is that no one has keys. (new egg told me they only have crysis 3 keys remaining) Its only on 'select cards' even though the advertising just shows that all amd hd7870s should be eligable. So the retailer may offer it on the 7950s but not on 7870s...or offer it on msi cards vs xfx. It pretty damn confusing and I feel I got ripped off. I was advertised to that 7870s got 4 free games bundled. Now what I think is the error is that the comment on the graphic card says that what helped the xfx 7870 made it into the mid range build was the free games. but thats not correct cause you don't get free games.

    "
and selection of free games makes this card the best deal for the moment"

I cleaned up the PSU, went to the non-modular one as with MIR it is $40. That is rather disappointing that XFX is not putting a AMD Never Settle Reloaded ID in their boxes, I am going to go shopping for a similar card which does.

Thanks for reading close enough to catch my brainfarts.
