Wait for Haswell-E or just buy IVB-E? Haswell-E having only 3 Gen3 PCIE?

    http://www.pcper.com/news/Editorial/...-question-mark
This article mentiones (slide pictures) Haswell-E will have 3 Gen3 lanes, and IvyBridge has 4 (full speed quad SLI for example). This doesn't sound good since I'm planing to use 2-card SLI and 2 PCIE SSD boards.

So, I'm using IVBE atm (3570K) and reading Haswell-E will offer much more per-core speed up than IvyBridge-E does. Does that still hold true?

With my current 3570K I miss some speed (especially when encoding videos), but what hurts me most is lack of SATA 6gbps connectors and USB 3 ones. I'm thinking of upgrading to an Ivy Bridge E, but not sure if that is wise atm. Do you think waiting for Haswell-E is better? Especially since 8-core will be a welcome option?

    Thanks.

3570K is LGA1155 Ivy Bridge, not Ivy Bridge-E. It has 16 PCI-E lanes on it, and the E chips have 40.
