How to uninstall an uninstallable Realk ALC880? Error 5009

I'm running Windows XP SP3 on a ASUS A8R-MX/S Board which has a Realtek ALC880 audio chipset.

Basically since it requires the HD Audio Hotfix kb835221 for sp3 and not the sp2 kb888111.

So I installed the driver for windows xp from the asus vintage ah1 site and it works sort of but the software fails after reboot and I can't uninstall the driver in Add/ Remove programs error 5009.

    8 Ch Azalia Realtek ALC880

So How can I uninstall the driver software completely if it doesn't uninstall from the Add or Remove Programs?

    Thanks

I fixed by disabling audio adapter in bios, using .net driver cleaner and it worked fine.

Now I'm trying to record line in on audacity and it's just not detecting audio via the graph, but it plays the input over the output. I just can't figure out how to record it.

Or use revo uninstaller next time (in advanced mode).

As of now install the driver you want to uninstall, once done, uninstall it using revo. It might work.
