AMD dumps 20nm for 2014, sticks with 28nm

    http://seekingalpha.com/article/2050...ce=google_news

So in the year intel launches 14nm Broadwell parts, AMD will rehash 28nm again.

I don't see any other articles mentioning it. I'll be waiting for confirmation before trusting the word of a poorly written article by some random "equity analyst" on seeking alpha

Maybe WarSam can clear this up for us.

there isn't much that i trust on seeking alpha, its full of people with 'vested' interests trying to push up the value of their investment in company A up while dragging company B down.
I have read stuff said on there which has had me off the back of my chair in fits of laughter from the lunacy of what was written.

Does it matter what die size AMD is on if they can't raise IPC?

Considering you started this thread, I assume you think the answer is yes

Posted because it's news. For those who don't trust seeking alpha or extremetech:

There are rumors that they will have 20nm this year as well, but a lot more out there that AMD/NVIDiA won't have 20nm parts this year.
