Noctua NH-D15 Review: Retaking The Cooling Performance Crown

This review has the majority of the premium air coolers tested against the NH-D15. It shows the NH-D15 beating the TC14PE, Silver Arrow SB-E Extreme and NH-D14 by 2 Celsius and beating the H100i with 3 Celsius difference. Do you guys think it is worth it to upgrade from the NH-D14?

That's what I thought. I think I'm just going to swap the stock fans on the NH-D14 with two NF-A15 PWM fans.

From what I've read, the major improvement over NH-D14 is support for taller RAM modules.
So, unless you have to have that...

you can make 2-3C look like a lot on a graph. Hell, it might even be statistically significant.... but its basically un-noticeable when you're talking about justification for spending $80 on another HSF. If thats an acceptable $/C number then you should really be looking at custom water cooling loops
