    Motherboard Advice

I have a spare Core I5 3570k processor. I want to build possibly a small HTPC or Steam Box. Don't necessarily want or need to over clock this. Just want something to set up with my TV. Any recommendations on solid but inexpensive Mini-Atx or Itx boards? Does not need to be a Z77 necessarily I think for this build. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would go with any good maker base B75 motherboard they run fine. Asus and Gigabyte some to mind.

It mostly depends on what your needs are. If you need more than one pcie slot you will have to go matx. I would look into itx.I built a steambox/htpc with an asrock h61 itx. The small size is easier to fit anywhere. It has a 2500k and a gt750. It works well enough for 720p. My biggest complaint is lack of usb3.
