It's been... some time since I last visited this place. I'm glad to see it's still here; most of the other forums I used to visit from back then are dead now.
Anyway, this thread is to show the case I made with a frame of aluminium, and carbon fibre panels. I made it because I wasn't satisfied with the amount of noise made by the fans in my old case, and identified the small size (80mm) of the fans as the limiting factor. The new case is big enough to fit three 140mm fans, which are very quiet.
The motherboard is rotated 90°, which allows the intake fans to be hidden underneath the case without the graphics card blocking the airflow. It also means I can get to all the rear connectors without having to move the PC.
