    cooler clearance question

    does anyone know if the Thermalright SILVER ARROW IB-E EXTREME will fit on the ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO and not interfere with the ram or the heatsinks on the board?

    Yes, these are compatible. The Asus motherboard has an 1150 socket type, which the cooler is compatible with. See links for reference.

    What you might want to check as well is the clearance your case has for any CPU cooler. It looks like you would need at least 152 mm of clearance to even fit it in your case.
