Better 4 sticks or 8 sticks of memory?

I want to buy and install 64 Gb if memory in the following motherboard.
ASUS ATX DDR4 3000 LGA 2011-3 X99-DELUXE/U3.1

Better 4 sticks or 8 sticks of memory?
Is there benefit one way or the other to either install (4 x 16GB) or (8 x 8GB) ?

There is no performance benefit to more sticks beyond the number of memory channels your CPU supports. X99 is quad channel, so the minimum you want is 4 sticks. If the price is the same, I would prefer 4 sticks since 8 sticks is more components to test if something isn't working right.

The "home" versions of microsoft stuff generally only let you "have" 32 gigs iirc.
