    have SSD questions

I am trying to catch up here on the ssd tech , I always have run HHDs but seeing now I have M.2 slot on this new lappy I am eyeballing all the new drives . I was running a samsung M,2 evo . But it was was not playing well with the dell lappy so I put back in the sandisk SSD , but that thing has kinda poor write speeds .
If i am looking at a drive on a reviewers site , what benchmark would most reflect real world small file speeds ?
I am also confused on manufactures specs with all the "Up to bla bla " speeds why don't they just say " this drive does xxx speeds LOL

On M.2 drives I been looking at upgrading to a Mushkin Enhanced Atlas Vital M.2 480 gb http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...06&ignorebbr=1
never had a mushkin drive and I can find no reviews on the drive . seems like a good price .
looking for feedback and opinions on the drive

If your heart is set on the Mushkin go for it, but you can get some cheaper through Overclockers UK.
