I have a computer that will not start. I press the power button and fans spins slowly for like 2 seconds then nothing. Computer doesn't actually come on. I built this computer half a year ago so unsure. My first thought was power supply but I don't know. What do you think?

Power supply, sometimes connectors, check for bad caps on the Motherboard, and lastly just start taking out components or unplug peripherals and see if one of them is hanging the power system.

If you have a volt meter you can narrow it down quick. I agree since the fans turn on it's probably the PS though.

Seems like power supply/socket/plug issues or either the main processing unit aka processor or motherboard has stopped functioning. You might want to take it to the repair shop.
