    Windows 10 upgrade contradiction

I've got Windows 7 and I'm trying to go through the Windows 10 free upgrade process. The first screen says I'm unable to upgrade due to compatibility issues so when I click the View Report option to see the issues, the report says there are now issues and that I'm good to go and that my PC will work with Windows 10. I used to get an option to upgrade to Windows 10 but I wasn't ready to upgrade then but now it is saying there is an issue. Please help as I'd like to get this resolved before I upgrade.

    Can anyone help please?

Well, isn't that interesting. Have you tried rebooting and running the upgrade again to see if you get the same issue?

Also, you can force the upgrade if you want - check out the link below:

    Hope this helps.

    Re: Windows 10 upgrade contradiction

Thank you for your help. For whatever reason the screens above were still not allowing me to upgrade even after a reboot etc. However, going through to the website link and downloading the Windows 10 upgrade program worked fine without needing to uninstall anything, update drivers or unplug any devices. My PC was reported to be 100% compatible so I think it was a bug in the dialog or compatibility report. I'm now fully Windows 10 upgraded. Just need to create a recovery USB drive now so I can do a clean install at some point.
