    Re: President Trump

Just sayin' Trump was put in office for one reason because he was the anti-establishment devil. He's walking a narrow line if he reneges and joins the establishment there's going to be a lot of pissed off people. He will go down in flames... Be very careful...

Dr. Ben Carson turns down consideration for Trump's Cabinet

    http://video.foxnews.com/v/521124544...#sp=show-clips

It's obvious Carson isn't a politician after this campaign he's probably ready for an acid bath and a normal life. He has to much cerebral gray matter for politics.

He should donate some to Obama and Hillary. They need it...

    Misogyny
"Woman hater" redirects here. For other uses, see Woman Hater (disambiguation).
Misogyny (/mɪˈsɒdʒɪni/) is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls. Misogyny can be manifested in numerous ways, including social exclusion, sex discrimination, hostility, androcentrism, patriarchy, male privilege, belittling of women, violence against women, and sexual objectification.[1][2] Misogyny can occasionally be found within sacred texts of religions and mythologies, and various influential Western philosophers and thinkers have been described as misogynistic.[1][3]

    Definitions
According to sociologist Allan G. Johnson, "misogyny is a cultural attitude of hatred for females because they are female." Johnson argues that:

Misogyny .... is a central part of sexist prejudice and ideology and, as such, is an important basis for the oppression of females in male-dominated societies. Misogyny is manifested in many different ways, from jokes to pornography to violence to the self-contempt women may be taught to feel toward their own bodies.[4]
hmmm... Feminists must rack (ratchet) up the number of divorces...

Quite a load to carry on your shoulders...

    btw: frum mentioned that yesterday.

    http://www.cnn.com/2012/03/05/opinio...ess/index.html

Point 1: Even by the rough standards of cable/talk radio/digital talk, Limbaugh's verbal abuse of Sandra Fluke set a new kind of low. I can't recall anything as brutal, ugly and deliberate ever being said by such a prominent person and so emphatically repeated. This was not a case of a bad "word choice." It was a brutally sexualized accusation, against a specific person, prolonged over three days.

Point 2: The cases that conservatives cite as somehow equivalent to Limbaugh's tirade against Fluke by and large did bring consequences for their authors.

After David Letterman for example made an ugly joke about Sarah Palin's daughter, he delivered an abject seven-minute apology on air. (To which Palin responded by refusing the apology and insinuating that David Letterman was a child molester.)

When liberal talker Ed Schultz nastily called my dear friend Laura Ingraham a "slut" on his radio show, MSNBC responded by suspending Schultz for a week without pay from his TV show. Schultz likewise apologized in person on air. (Ingraham accepted the apology with grace and humor.)

The exception to the general rule is Bill Maher, who never apologized for calling Palin by a demeaning sexual epithet. But now see point 3: (by checking the link )
i also see the author of your quote chose to use the word misogynistic. over the weekend the president of georgetown used it in his letter to staff and students. must be the word of the month.

John J. DeGioia President Georgetown University

In recent days, a law student of Georgetown, Sandra Fluke, offered her testimony regarding the proposed regulations by the Department of Health and Human Services before a group of members of Congress. She was respectful, sincere, and spoke with conviction. She provided a model of civil discourse. This expression of conscience was in the tradition of the deepest values we share as a people. One need not agree with her substantive position to support her right to respectful free expression. And yet, some of those who disagreed with her position – including Rush Limbaugh and commentators throughout the blogosphere and in various other media channels – responded with behavior that can only be described as misogynistic, vitriolic, and a misrepresentation of the position of our student.

In our vibrant and diverse society, there always are important differences that need to be debated, with strong and legitimate beliefs held on all sides of challenging issues. The greatest contribution of the American project is the recognition that together, we can rely on civil discourse to engage the tensions that characterize these difficult issues, and work towards resolutions that balance deeply held and different perspectives. We have learned through painful experience that we must respect one another and we acknowledge that the best way to confront our differences is through constructive public debate. At times, the exercise of one person’s freedom may conflict with another’s. As Americans, we accept that the only answer to our differences is further engagement.

Think about it… Most far-left female activist professional victims are quite often lesbians.

I wonder if any of her male lovers can bear the humiliation of admitting they had sex with Ms Fluke.

I think this whole incident was staged and scripted by Obambi’s Chicago mob.

    Distraction, distraction, distraction…

^^^ 409 SS? I rode in one of those many times back in 1964, a black Impala SS 409, with a Wildman at the wheel - my uncle.

4:56 Lodi in it and John Force style burnouts - I mean all the way through 4th gear. And not a chirp in 4th, but hundreds of feet of fish tailing with both rear tires smokin'.

Dual quad Carter AFB 425 HP 409. It was a monster. I had no idea some of the best times in life would be before I even finished high school.

Being in the passenger seat in one of these is what I remember:

Nah the one I had was 283 small block small carter 4 barrel. About 230HP, 300 Torque, 9.5 compression. Stock family car, Little old lady from Pasadena . Could have easily put a 409 in it.

    The '66 I have now I'm putting a 350 with about 335 HP, 365 torque, around 9.1 compression, redlines @ about 5,200 rpm. A Cruiser with a kick.

^^ A turn key crate engine. Edelbrock 600 cfm on high rise manifold. 465+cam, Vortec 1 heads, hypereutectic pistons.

I'm going use a 700 R4 auto tranny, 3 speed with over drive. Problem I need to get the drive shaft shortened and balanced. Right now I'm trying to get the right motor mounts and crossmember. Not easy.
