^^ Actually Korea was political from the very start. Pre-war, war, post-war. It doesn't matter what Party the president is in, republican or democratic. A problem the establishment doesn't want to tackle for some unknown reason.

The Vietnam War is when MSM and the radical left found out they can control how a war is fought and they can influence the outcome to a large extent. Stalemate, discontent and eventual loss.

China pledges neutrality - unless US strikes North Korea first

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/08...rea-first.html

How much are you willing to bet China is bluffing.

    Picture this

An ICBM ready North Korea and Iran. North Korea Stalinist crazies with a crazy fat kid in charge. Iran Islamic terrorists with crazy religious leaders in charge. A ICBM powder keg... Good and Bad ... The good part is you won't have to worry about Global Warming killing you. The bad part mushroom clouds, instant human ashes and radiation poisoning... One might be lead to believe the world's population reduced by 90 percent. Not good unless you're in the 10 percent.

Kim Yong woke up in a cold sweat this morning. The dream was so vivid. So intense and realistic. Try as he might he can only remember one image that has relentlessly haunted him all day....

The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary.

London's Khan blasts Trump's rhetoric, makes comparison to ISIS

    http://www.foxnews.com/world/2017/09...n-to-isis.html

Khan brushed off Trump’s remarks, with his office saying the mayor “has more important things to do than respond to Donald Trump's ill-informed tweet that deliberately takes out of context his remarks urging Londoners not to be alarmed when they saw more police — including armed officers — on the streets.”
More important things to do than respond? What could he possibly be doing? Oh I know picking up body parts and cleaning up blood stains.

^^^ In that case simply use bigger bombs.

Interesting commentary - perhaps on the heels of your boy dorking around over there for 8 years and made 0 progress?

    Just wondering.

don't forget who the real dork was. funny how the afghanistan thread had only 34 pages compared to iraq's 145 page thread. even scoot thought it was the forgotten war. he did blame the democrats though. go figure

    Afghanistan and Pakistan

The most senior British military commander in Afghanistan today described the situation in the country as "close to anarchy" with feuding foreign agencies and unethical private security companies compounding problems caused by local corruption.

The stark warning came from Lieutenant General David Richards, head of Nato's international security force in Afghanistan, who warned that western forces there were short of equipment and were "running out of time" if they were going to meet the expectations of the Afghan people.

^^^ As expected, your rock throwing train somehow switched tracks and completely bypassed the “Obama years in Assramistan” fighting “the war that should be prosecuted” - not to mention him yielding Iraq to ISIS.

    Well done!
