    MSI b350 tomahawk vs PC mate

    Anyone seen these two boards on msi's web site.

    They look identical minus the pretty LED lights for the PC mate 4. One is marketed as gamer board the other as business oriented.

    Any reason I should pay 15 bus more for the tomahawk?

    Not sure about PC mate but the tomahawk is a good low coat board, just pay attention to memory compatibility when you buy

    Yep the toma boards are great i have two of them both 1700's both do 4Ghz but i prefer 3.6 and under volt

    Pc mate sound like a pack of condoms

    Got the tomahawk. What RAM you guys running? Can't get my 2x8ghz corsair 2666 Cas 16 to boot abover 2400. BIOS 1.3

    Corsair 3200 or faster seems to be working well. Lower speed is a bit iffy, that is probably using the cheaper IC's.
