Running Ubuntu 16.04/Mate on Xeon-1240 and AMD8350 hardware: NOTE: I define MY browser as containing : 1) explicit bookmark name-list and 2) the displayed URLs underlying those name. All else is noise ...

Satisfied, I run as browser PALE MOON ... since FFOX has stopped playing web midi-files I appreciate. Have been trying-out other newish browsers - - VIVALDI & BRAVE most recent.

VIVALDI shows godiva-level eye-candy, but makes simple tasks obscure. Overlapping "panes"; cuniform-like flags, no kill-button for the setup menus; tasks drunkenly scattered across the screen ... so like OPERA always -around. Why pain instead of simplicity? Now, otoh BRAVO ... crap-BRAVO avoids the candy --- it just obscures. Explain the weiner-dude/byte-boi complexity? Needless! Instead should be like our family maid. When we come in from morning yacht races , Sally the downstairs maid smartly dressed always has fresh salads and fruit smoothies ready for my crew. She is a valued servant! Excepting peon-specific apps - - purpose=built to rub workers nose in mud - - why should top-tit consumer software (like web-browsers) be any different?
