    Hdd

With SSD prices out of control, im gonna get an HDD (for game storage and game recording, kinda kills me to go back to a spinner)
WD Blue and Black, what are the advantages of the Black over the Blue? and for my needs does it even really matter?

If I recall correctly Blue is 5400 RPM, and Black is 7200 RPM

Black has a 5 yr warranty? Blue is 3 ? (at least I think that is still the case)

A few months ago, the Samsung 850 EVO 500GB dropped in price to $200.00. I'm eventually going to replace all my harddrive's with SSD's, but on tap first, are get a WQHD monitor, get 32GB of DDR 3 1600 ram, and a new case and that all starts piece by piece after I save money for my next vacation.

As for harddrives, I don't recommend Seagate, I had one that a little over a month ago, failed for no reason on me, ie did not make any clicking noises that it was going to fail, it just up and died on me.

What you are looking for is the type of set up I'm running. Samsung Evo 500gb + A 5tb WD Black. I'd recommend the Blacks all day long for their speed. I might even have a sealed 3tb Black if you're interested.

Well, not really looking for what you are "running", unless you are just talking about storage.

Newegg has a 3TB Blue for under $90. Considering this, i have until tomorrow and the sale ends. Its a 5400rpm drive, are Blacks only 7200rpm?

Yes, only meant just storage. All blacks are 7200rpm.
