    Like so many other communities, AMDMB seems to have seen a decline in patronage. People don't seem to be much into traditional forums these days. The near-collapse of what was once the giant known as XtremeSystems is another good example. It mostly consists of one person posting links to news articles. Social networks draw more attention from people feeling conversational.
    Sometimes I feel like I'm becoming a dinosaur.

    still kicking miss the good old days with amdmb.com Sharing all the latest on AMD and Via motherboard , Abit, Epox ,Soltec
    My 1st 1 Ghz slot A CPU with a epox board running windows 98SE takes me back !

    Epox and Abit. The two mobo companies I miss the most. Just yesterday I finally retired my wife's Abit IP35-E (I was too cheap back then to go for the Pro) running a Q6600. It still ran perfect but she got my old Asrock Extreme 4 Gen 3 running a 2600k.

    I logged in today because I didn't remember my main PC specs, so I knew what I needed to order off Newegg.

    Anyway, I basically replaced my computer fetish with guitars. That said, I have a power supply already out the door with today's order a few hours ago.
