    Let's talk Colorado!

After this week I thought it high time to start documenting the mistakes my state is making. It's now kicked into overdrive after the election of Jared Polis, a gay Jewish millionaire from Boulder. I find it fascinating that a man who's personal demographic makes up less than 1% of the American population would have a problem with the electoral college which assures people in all portions of states get a say in a national election but....

Every time a Republican happens to win a Presidency, Democrats argue that the Electoral College is an archaic election method not representative of a democratic government.

Up until now there was nothing they can do about it, but Colorado has come up with a plan that, at the very least, will likely wind up in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.

In the next election, Colorado aims to assign all electoral votes to the winner of the national Popular Vote, rather than then to the individual who brings in the most votes in their State, essentially invalidating the will of their own State citizens. Somehow, this makes sense to Colorado governor Jared Polis:

“I’ve long supported electing the president by who gets the most votes,” Polis told The Hill. “It’s a way to move towards direct election of the president.”

Colorado will become the 12th state to join the national popular vote interstate compact. Those 12 states and the District of Columbia, which has also passed a popular-vote bill, account for 181 electoral votes, just under 90 shy of the 270 votes a presidential candidate needs to win the White House.

The compact will not go into effect until the coalition includes states that add up to 270 electoral votes or more. Once it does go into effect, states that are part of the coalition would award their electoral votes en masse to the candidate who wins the national popular vote.

This is the stuff that eventually has led to civil wars throughout history. It's what happens in the dying last days of a country and is extremely disturbing news. In a sane country with closely controlled borders a popular vote might still be an option but were are living in insanity now. Open borders with more people coming in illegally every day. 95% of those people will eventually vote for Democrats as they will be naturalized by them so of course it's in the traitor party's best interests to find a way to make the popular vote the law of the land.

The demorat socialist crooks, creeps and weirdos will try anything to force socialism/communism on the American People. The constitution means nothing to them. They work under the principles of the Manifesto and Mao’s teachings. The well being of the American people means very little to the democrats.

Witness the attempted destruction of a once great country taken a part on piece at a time...

You mentioned Civil War well in due time that will happen take a good look at what’s happening in Venezuela and imagine something a hundred times worse. There is 300 million guns in this country and 10s of millions that will use them when it gets bad enough. Maybe not in my lifetime but certainly in your lifetime. They can fool some of the people some of the time but they can’t fool all of the people all of the time...

Dangerous stuff. And strange that a governor would give away the votes of his own people.

^^ That’s the way socialism and communism works the people are irrelevant. Me thinks we’re in the middle of a Socialist/Communist coup. The only thing that will stop it is crush it. When a governors can take away the vote of the people and put it in the column of somebody they didn’t vote for something is radically wrong. The founders knew what they were doing when they made the Electoral College the law of the land.

I don't remember the dems having a problem with the Electoral College when Clinton won in '92 due to it. I also don't remember a bunch of red states leading the charge to get rid of it because of that either.

Another new gun law will be here soon after our new democrat led state "debates" it.

A measure to make it easier for courts to temporarily remove firearms from people who are determined to be a danger to themselves or others has cleared its first hurdle at the Colorado capitol.

The bill would create extreme risk protection orders in Colorado, where family members or law enforcement could petition a court to temporarily remove someone’s guns for two weeks before they become an imminent danger, using the lowest civil standard of evidence. There would then be a second hearing on a long-term order, which requires a higher standard of evidence.

If the judge issues that second order, the weapons would be removed for 364 days. Opponents say the idea is a gross government overreach.

“This law may turn our state into a police state,” said John Anderson, a retired commander at the Castle Rock Police Department. “It’s the beginning of something I don’t think we really want.”

^^^ Your earlier comments about Colorado being Kalifornicated are coming true.

I think the country is heading the same way.

^^ I think you’re right this is the living flesh proof. A socialist Bronx bartender leading the way for the socialist Democratic’s USSR.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez slammed by women's group for questioning if it's 'okay to still have children'

California has new gun control laws for 2019. Here’s what you should know

    https://www.sacbee.com/news/politics...223231150.html

Some of those laws are already in the books in Kalifornia. They changed the language and made them more restrictive. Also our glorious Governor is talking about raising taxes on gun and ammo sales. Money for funding the sanctuary state. The state is in the middle of something the counties should be regulating.

In anticipation of Red Flag law, 33 counties (so far) in Colorado are declaring gun rights sanctuaries.

Colorado enacts 'red flag' law to seize guns from those deemed dangerous, prompting backlash

    https://www.foxnews.com/politics/she...emed-dangerous

The Red Flag trap has hit Colorado. An arbitrary trap that requires clairvoyance and the ability to read minds. Don’t pissoff any of your relatives or neighbors. Cops that don’t know you can negate your 2nd rights. It’s a placebo that doesn’t fix a dam thing.
