My 14-year old son has been using my laptop as a home-school computer for a few weeks now, but can't stop screwing around with other things. I'm giving him until the end of this week to show me he has control, then the hammer comes down if I'm not happy. Obviously, with USB flash drives, etc. it's harder to block stuff on internet and harder to stop him installing programs, so I figured I could try login. Right now my computer has only one login as me as an admin (and only account) account. I would like to change my password and then setup a user account for him. Before this, I will uninstall all programs he cannot use. Will this allow me to have more control and he won't be able to install anything else on there? Let me know what you think.
