We have entered an age of censorship - like violations of the second amendment, they start slowly at first - small things. All you need do is listen to music on radio. Listen to Steve Miller’s song “Jet Airliner” or Dire Straits “Money for Nothing” and there will be garbled spots where words have been censored out.

I’m the one that should decide if I own guns and how/when I can carry/use them. I’m the one that should decide what I listen to or not by any artist.

^^Walker isn't the brightest bulb on the string, and I advise taking everything he says with a grain of salt. Little seems to come from him directly. He's more of the talking head-type, with his strings pulled from elsewhere. He couldn't hold on to the Governor's mansion, despite a relatively good economy, and repeatedly demonstrated himself as out of touch.

To this whole redistricting thing, both parties suffer from it. At least in Wisconsin, the Democrats have reason to whine about it. The Republicans went out of their way to creatively carve districts once they took power. I have zero doubt the Democrats will do the same, given the opportunity. I certainly don't have a perfect answer, but simply allowing the majority free reign to redistrict as they wish has got to be about the worst approach.

Walker also has to be the poster child for hypocrisy when it comes to power grabs. He did everything his string-pullers could think of to hamstring the incoming Democrat governor in his lame duck session. I voted for Walker the first three times, mainly because the alternative was even worse. Even still, I can't support the idiocy and short-sightedness of trying a last minute re-write of the rules simply because you lost. Long-term it's far more likely to come back and bite you, and just drives that political wedge that much further deep between the two parties.

IMHO, Walker ought to close his mouth and go away (and ideally take Hillary with him, LOL). I'm content to let Trump continue remaking the circuit courts and Supreme Court.

Gerrymandering is a jigsaw puzzle there’s no set uniformity or consistency. My son lives in a small section of Los Angeles County but his congressman lives mile away in Kern County. He doesn’t get any of the benefits of Kern County such as lower property taxes. Kalifornia voting districts are fixed to the point where the radical democrats will always have control of the state...
