Hello,
I'm planning to install Windows10 from scratch.
I was thinking that the 64bit version would be better (somewhat faster) but am worried about its compatibility because I don't have any 64bit programs. And I'll be installing a lot of WinXP 32bit programs/ games.
Will the 64bit version run 32bit programs just as well without any issues or will it be problematic?
Actually no. If you have 8GB's of ram in your computer, 32bit Windows 10 won't be able to utilize it all. If you have 4GB's or lower than you should be fine with 32bit Windows 10, otherwise you have to get 64bit Windows 10 if you want the OS to utilize all the ram in your computer.
Only thing I could suggest is Windows Calendar, the program present with Windows 10. No need to be logged in the Microsoft Account if you use a local Windows account. Unfortunately, this may not have all the alert options that you wanted.
