    Ok i hope to upgrade this month......and here is the list parts
    if anyone has had any problems with any of these parts let me know

    Sounds like my system, minus the a7v266, I looked at that board, but decided I wanted the Epox 8K7A instead.

    That is almsot the system I am going to build for myself! Except maybe I will go for dual Althons this time! Anywho, nice system I hope you decide to buy those upgrades! Ohh, yeah I and I am going scsi raid on my new machine also!

    I agree with nihilist in that you should consider the Epox board, if I could build my system over again, i would have gone with the 8K7A+ with the raid chip.

    i could recommend the gigabyte 7dxr and well as the epox..both great boards..i would stay away from the kt266 chipset at this point that the a7v266 comes with..it is still way too new...unless you want to be a g.pig testing it...plus it does not perform as well as other chipsets available for ddr boards.
