Memory settings/ Relation to 133 FSB bug

I built a system around the K7 Master a couple of months ago, and have been following the "133 FSB bug" in the forums for quite some time.
Up until recently I haven't had any problems with my mobo (I thought I was one of the lucky few), until I messed around with my memory timing settings.
    When my memory timing is
133FSB + 4x AGP + 8-8-8-x-x-x-x-x my system won't run any 3D apps (exits to desktop). When set to 4X AGP + SPD, games play great.
My question: Is this related to the "133 FSB bug"?
Has memory timing been ruled out as a possible cause to this problem? (I have seen little mention to memory timings when this topic is mentioned)
What are the memory timings of the other people who are having the 133 FSB problem?

    Question Memory hmm...

I have the 133 bug and my memory setting is at 8-8-5-2-2-2-2. Its kinda funny how that work around fixes my computer. Anyway, try this setting. You should post this question at the msihardware.com forum. They are fully into fixing this problem, or i should say more into fixing it. I would of never figured this one out. Anyway, good luck.

this issue is not related to any particular memory setting. My system runs rock solid with my aggressive timings, but still have the bug with any timing.

    Gave 8-8-5-2-2-2-2 a try

I’m using one stick of 256MB Crucial PC2100 DDR RAM.
I am not overclocked; Bios 1.1, FSB is set to 133, multiplier is 10, AGP is 4X.
Tried 8-8-5-2-2-2-2, no luck! system won't run any 3D apps (exits to desktop).
Gave 8-8-8-2-6-2-2 a try again, no luck!
Only when "SDRAM Timing by SPD" is Enabled in the BIOS, can I run any 3D apps/games without crashing.
Going to try other memory timings, and see what happens.
