    Question KT7 CPU Upgrade

I have at the moment a Abit KT7 m.b. with a Duron 600@800(8.0x100). What is the fastest chip my board can safely support?

I plan on upgrading my m.b. in the next few months. So what would be my best options?

    Thanks for your time.

I have a KT7-Raid and I've upgraded from a Duron 650 all the way to a T-bird 1.33 266FSB safely. I'm using the WW bios (not the best) since any newer ones will screw up my SB128.

Can't wait to get my hands on a KG7-Raid...

    Mmmm...

Hazard mate, since the KT7 doesn't support 133 fsb how have you got that 1.333 set?

Sorry if I misled you but I meant that I actually got a 1.33c t-bird running on my KT7-Raid. I use the WW bios that automatically clocks the CPU at 12.5 x 104. Any newer bios would mean and can't clock it any more than 12 x 107 = 1284. On the ZT bios, I would try it at 13 x 100 and it would lock up loading Win2K.

I bought the T-bird with anticipation of getting the KG7-Raid.
