On sharkyforums.com ppl said that OCZ is bad w/customers (that's what I heard).

You can unlock the cpu yourself, by connecting the L1 bridge, like on the tbird, but not with a pencil, doesn't work anymore.

    Ed,
I think yours is a MP and not a XP. The XP that I have has AX1800DMT3C on the core.

I starting to think that these stores that are selling "unlocked XP's" are actually selling MP's.

Does the MP processors have the same specs as the Xp's?

    Do the MP's support SSE?

They are exactly the same, but MP is validated for multi-processor systems. And it costs more because of that validation.

Just a heads up. I have ordered several products from this store and they ar top notch. I've never had anything be bad from them. Everything I have ordered from them has been what's advertised. If they say that they have unlocked Athlon XP, I would believe them.

I bought an 1gig AYHJA from them and that darn thing has been doing 1551 at 1.85volts for about 5 months now. No problems with them. Thinking about getting one of their unlocked XP's.

Buying from these guys is a hit and miss, I ordered $500.00 is stuff from them (FT-1000 case, OCZ Titian 3 video card, and other things) and I rcv'd it all in 9 days (Being stationed overseas in Japan, and having to use the USPS that rocks). But like I said, it is a hit and miss, some folks have had gud luck and others have not.
