Just to give you a laugh, I received this today.
I'm already over at gpu-grid and at milkyway, Now If only MW/gpu would get running, I've suspended that one until I hear different.

Yeah, That's a hoot(LOL), Poll sounds like multiple choice, They don't expect people to believe their serious do they? As discussion on some issues there seem off limits and that's one area they could allow that would help, Instead of burying their heads in the sand and hiding posts, locking threads or just banning users, Heck they could ask about a name change and that would be more friendly, Instead in their arrogance they ban Me. They can go KMA.

I'm gone from Seti, From Tonight onward the PC goes off when I goto bed.

Edit: I'm being Banished from the Seti forums now(My fault I won't go into It), But I don't care anymore. All the WU's and files for Seti and Boinc have been uninstalled and deleted.

    Censorship @ Seti@Home sucks.
    That's too bad Joker.

I really don't like it when moderators ban people without proper explanations and warnings. That's extremely cold toward those people.

As for the linking to E-Bay, I can see their point. By posting that link you will get a lot of extra hits onto your E-Bay page, most of which would come from search engines. This added exposure can significantly boost the selling value of that item. And since you're financially benefiting from placing that link, its now considered Pimping/Spamming. Most forum owners do not want Pimping/Spaming on their site.

Personally, I have been turning a blind eye to your E-Bay posts here simply because you only linked to a couple of them, and they may have interested someone here. But honestly its not a good idea to do that without asking for permission first.

In the end, we are all merely guests visiting these sites. And as guests, we are expected to follow the rules that the owner(s) of these sites have created. This also applies to Moderators. For Moderators are even guests too. Its just they are asked to try to uphold the rules and ideals that the owner(s) have.

That said. If you feel unjustly dismissed from the Seti forums, I would take it up with another Moderator at that forum. Possibly a Super Moderator, if they have any. For here when a member brings up something like this to another Moderator, we tend to discuss these things amongst our selves in a Staff forum to try to determine what Ryan would want us to do. We Moderators don't aways get it right. So sometimes after discussing things we do overturn previous judgements. After all, we are all merely humans. We all make mistakes, and we all have feelings.

I think you're referring to the air racing. They have a bad website that only relies on Flash. First time I got stuck in some F1 section and couldn't get back as the back button doesn't work for Flash. That doesn't lead to a user friendly experience.

The Air Races look like fun. I've never seen any. Aren't they required to do those over water?

You know, I haven't been to an Air Show ever since I really started to get into photography. That's something I must do. But next weekend is bad for me as I'm going to be off on a kayak trip down the Grand River. So long as the weather holds out, it should be a fun trip.

From what someone has told Me there are 9 mods there, An admin/mod(Who is too busy cause of Seti and rubber stamps things at seti) and No super mod and I was notified of the vote at 4:14pm on 6/12/09 and then by a 3-0 vote and with Eric out of town I was banished for 14 days at 10:16pm on 6/12/09(The dates and time are from when I received them) and It's supposed to be all of them voting, I think, So since Eric is unreachable due to Me not knowing His email address at Seti and cause of His filters, I can't do anything but wait, There is one person who seems to have the inside track there and It seems one of the Mods is making Eric nervous, And there's some on the former mod list that need purging from the list as the password and such for project and the forums from what I been told may have been cloned as I was told Eric said He saw someone around His place and He suspects a certain person, So I wait, I have time and I've put Boinc back on the PC as the alternative is like going back in time almost. GPU-grid and Milkyway for the moment, But Seti may be a ways off as I may have a backup of some files I erased on another PC, But not now as I don't feel too safe over there as I may be targeted again for any reason.

As to ebay they just hide those posts, unless someone changed the post(usually), this time they hid the post anyway even though everything had been deleted that was related to ebay as I'd had time to erase that sort of stuff, But links to newegg aren't supposed to be there either and are allowed and that's commercialism, yet no action is taken and that stinks of favoritism, It should be all or nothing, But I don't run the place and I'm not really interested in that, But once an Admin(Sysop) You don't want to be under someone else, So I'll not ask, Besides He doesn't know Me and to Him I could be another dismissed Mod waiting to happen, power is something to be responsible in ones actions If ones a Mod or even as an Admin. It was pointed out to Me that they ban people there without asking for the problem to be fixed and may an agenda of their own that they have no right to.

What got Me banned seems to not be not so much of a serious problem as a problem in (not)having a limit on the length of ones name and of course the honor system is employed there and so Mods take care of It after the fact if something goes wrong, That's sloppy programming and wasting of a Mods time when the Server software could take care of the length and the content could be approved by a Mod, If they have the time, Otherwise I'm not sure how that could be handled by the server itself. At least I was notified of My execution considering the fix was most likely already in.

I'll not post anymore ebay stuff here then, It never helped anyway, As most stuff I've sold has not been here anyway.

^^^^ Should be a good show. The Snowbirds are currently grounded due to an ejection seat issue. If they cancel their apperance, I won`t be going.

It`s been busy around here lately. Had my chimney taken down(1/2 way down), and rebuilt with new matching brick. I got my city permits to widen my driveway, so I have 2 different companies doing some work this week. One is cutting my curb, and reforming it. And another is removing my sidewalk slab, and repouring it with a new re-inforced wire mesh to meet city code. Then next week my shed arrives, so guess what I`m building.

Then on the 27th I go on 2 weeks holidays. Can`t wait, been on afternoons. And doing alot of overtime(10-12hrs days). Sucks getting off work at 2-5am, then driving 1 hr. to, and fro work.

At least it's better than being out of work.

Took my solar blanket off of the pool today. With the cool weather, rain, mosquitos, and the cold I am just getting over, I haven't been able to give it the care its needed the past month. Needless to say, the bottom was all green with algae. I put the automatic vacuum thing in and let it do its thing. A couple of hours later I was left with a green pool!

It stirred the algae up mixing it with all the water. So I'm starting to go through all the chemicals now to get it back on track. We'll see how it does.

Well it was environmental, till I put those chems into it!

The last few evenings hasn't been as bad as far as the mosquitos go. So if the temperature holds out, I'm hoping to have the pool back in order by early next week.

That's one advantage you've got...someone does all the pool work for ya!
