    Re: The Boinc Bar!

I got a couple of cables in for the Temp TV setup, I even figured out what a type of cable that came with the HP PC was for, It's an IR Blaster, It sends a signal to the Sat box so one can change the channel, But being It only covers one of the 3 sensors, It doesn't always work or even work right, So I need to get one with 3 heads and amazon sells one and It's in one of My wishlists.

    Before(HP 15" LCD Monitor)/After(Dell 15" LCD Monitor)

Of the two cables I ordered one was a 12' 3.5mm m-m audio cable to link the PCs speakers to the PC as I have them under the TV, I'll need to eventually order an adapter(3.5mm female to rca for the audio) when I integrate the PC into the TVs inputs, But for the moment this will do, I'll also have to order a 6' s-video cable and a 3' vga extension cable and a ps2 to usb adapter(as My other PCs secondary keyboard now can't be easily plugged in to the PC).

And the other cable? It was/is a 12' coax cable which was horrible as It just introduced almost a minutes worth of sheer lag, What I have hooked up now makes about 4-5 seconds or so of lag time as the cables are audio and composite video, much better control and I can crunch S@H and MW@H on both cores and watch TV at the same time, But I have improvements planned for the HP media center m7470n PC, like an FX-60 cpu, an AMD/ATi 4870 X2 video card and a 900w modular psu(I have the psu now), I could add another 1MB dimm(PC3200), But I don't know If It's worth the cost, Oh and on the Bios I'll have to flash the ms-7184 motherboard with an e-machines ms-7093 3.9 bios(same motherboard with a few more parts and a different color(red)) It require a few switches to do right of course and I had to look It up, But I'm waiting until the lamp for the main TV is replaced before I do that.

Which size dumpster? Hopefully not the one from the home remodeling section.

Still no sale yet, I did have a bite of course as someone asked about It, But so far they haven't called back, I'll find out later of course from My agent, I still need to gather up some receipts and I'm still waiting for a piece of mail from Verizon to arrive, Then I can go and get pre qualified and look for a suitable house, Like one of the two below(If their still around that is and If I qualify I might make an offer If My place is in escrow):

The one on the left(Blue) is for sale(3bd 2ba 1344sqft) and the one on the right(Gray) might be in escrow(2bd 1ba 904sqft), maybe.

Hey Jay! Lazy day up here. Gray outside, so It's a perfect day to clear out the DVR and watch all those shows I've been too busy to see. Besides, I'm slamming the Zinc lozenges trying to avoid a cold... if I do the yardwork, I'll just be making myself sick.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

    Re: The Boinc Bar!

Reliable sources report that the person who called the real estate agent of Mine, Said the person on the phone asked about the space rent here in the park($215 a month, much less then elsewhere) and If It was going to go up anytime soon. So I may have a real buyer on My hands, Now I just need the financing and I can move out into a rental for the escrow period and then have pro movers move Me in when I get the keys. Whoopie!

The place I'm looking at has a refrige, range, dishwasher, clothes washer and clothes dryer and was built in 1989 and has 1056sqft(2bd 2ba), Once this place goes into escrow I may make an offer once I get approved for a mortgage(I'm looking at using $10,000.00 as a minimum down payment).

    Re: The Boinc Bar!

    Hey guys!

Man what a busy weekend! Sunday turned out great. Everyone had fun. I even had a surprised visit from my Uncle. There was plenty of food to go around.

Monday I closed up the pool. Just in time too. When I left work tonight we had a really thick layer of frost on the windows. They are calling for a low of 21F (-6C) tomorrow night. I'll have to make sure everything is properly drained tomorrow before I go to work. I'm sure the pump/filter could start to freeze if there's still water in them.

I'm glad we're not due to get much rain this week. I have to take the winter cover off of the pool again this weekend and repair a couple of holes I found near the one end. Appearently a mouse thought the cover would make a great home, but it needed a couple of 'doors'.

I bought some extra tarp and some contact cement to try and patch it. But now I hear that they have 'tarp tape' that should also work. Not which one would be best. The cover must be water proof, and is exposed to rain/sun/snow/ice and a lot of tension. Last night I had nightmares of finding the holes had ripped and the whole thing became useless. So I got to fix it right.
