    Got a call from my father last night....he stopped on the highway to help 2 girls whose car had gone into the ditch, and just after he finished and got back into his car (stopped on the shoulder with emergency flashers) he was rear-ended by a minivan. It hit his Mustang hard enough that it raised the car and one of the rear coilsprings actually popped out....his car is totalled. Evidently he's relatively unhurt, but he's now without a vehicle, and insurance isn't going to give him much for a 10 year old Mustang....or not enough to find an equivilant vehicle.

    Man, that sucks! You'd like to think if he was rearended the other insurance Co would step up to the plate, huh?

    Been busy today - electrics around the house. Been wiring in a new thermostat for the heating

    Now Mrs Slider and I should be able to slowly cook at a nice even temperature all winter

    Dont get me started on the monoply we call insurance .... the lot of them should be shot!

    Well rma's Can really pay off for crunching ,I did my 4 rma run on a MSI k7d master and got a k8t master 2 far ,a month ago and 2 weeks ago I rmaed a 30 gb maxotr [2 meg cache] and today got a 60 gb 8 meg cache back, did the msi k7n2g last week got it back on Monday and in the next few days my xp1700 will be sent back as a xp2200 from AMD acording to there email.. only need another mobo and stick of ram and another cruncher will be added.

    Yeah that sucks Hubris, Some (That represent others) insurance companys don't often like to pay for damages or replace cars, Glad Your Dad is unhurt.

    Me I awoke to find the latest rain storm had left Me with a wet floor in the Hallway and in one corner of the bathroom, Maybe It will get fixed as management has said It's now on the list for prompt repairs.

    Oh well It could have been worse everywhere else is dry thankfully.
