    Friday!!

It's supposed to finally warm up over the weekend. Not that I'll plan to be outside much...but a little relief is welcome. Might have to enjoy a cold beverage or two....or three..

    Evenin'

    Weather was interesting this week.

Freezing rain and a skating rink on Wednesday then 18C on Thursday then -20C on Friday, talk about going up and down.

Yikes JCB, 4 seasons in one day!

I love it when the toughest part of an install is gathering all the disks and screwing around physically mounting the drives ... err

Let's see if Raptors in RAID-0 on my main cruncher can get me a few more WU's before I move all my boxen to BOINCing.

    Morning

Got some work to do around the house today. 1st job is to build me one of these.

...then I sould be able to increase my wireless reception sufficiently so that I can get a connection in the living room (2ft thick stone walls aren't good for wireless ). Then when the Formula 1 season starts in a month or two, I'll be able to watch the races live on TV whilst getting the lap times live on my laptop from the F1 site - how cool is that

What, you don't have access to Cookie Cans in England? I'm makin' one of these to see if I can get a good link to Starbucks' wireless from my house. (In Seattle, you're almost ALWAYS in line-of-sight of a Starbucks ) *shrug* Hey, it's a cold day, right? Gotta do SOMETHING indoors 'nStuff...
