    What the heck is "Bump" in forums

    So, I keep seeing this in good threads and can't figure out what the hell it does.
    What does "Bump" mean in these forums?

    there was a thread at tacoma territories that had over 4,000 "bumps" delphi deleted it and the guys got a new one going and had 5,000 in three days I see something like this brewing here
