The computer department was open 24 hours, so I would go in there at 9:00 on a Friday night and program, test, program, test, all night long. Come out at 5:00 am. I wasn't a party kind of guy, so this was a fun diversion when you are lonely in college (my girlfriend lived 500 miles away)

We all had drawers where we kept the punch cards for programs, and one day I came in to find that someone had stolen the program. I had a backup on punched paper tape, but it was too slow to load to have fun with, so I just never saw the game again. Someone must have liked it.

Wow just a Mobo can make a difference, I just replace my Gigabyte GA7-DXR with a ABIT KV-7, thats a Via 600 board using the same old components and every thing is smmoooooth, I love it, the old Gigy had a AMD northbridge and a Via south bridge and was one of those designed by committee boards, this one is agood bit smaller and a lot better, glad I switched!.... Bump
There are advantages to being retarded...and I'm taking advantage of all of them.
